Zinar Castle

The Krakow Zoological Garden has a specific, intimate character. Its location in the Wolski Forest is conducive to family walks and relaxation. In the zoo, we find about 1,500 animals, representatives of over 250 species, including elephants, lions and camels. In June 2016, a facility for Humboldt penguins was opened, which will inhabit the rocky beach, artificial rocks and two swimming pools. Since its inception in 1929, the Krakow Zoo has been a breeding center where many valuable animal species are successfully reproduced. They include, among others great condor, small lori, white-handed gibbon, chimpanzee, white-handed tamarin, fennel, Przewalski's horse.

There is also a Mini ZOO for children in the garden, where they can not only see, but also stroke and feed the animals.
