Młynówka Królewska

Park

Młynówka Królewska is the longest park in Poland. Walking along the artificial riverbed of the Rudawa River, we can smoothly get from District V Krowodrza to District VI Bronowice and vice versa. During the 8 km walk we will meet several playgrounds (including at Jabłonowska, Wesele, between Racławicka and Zbrojów and at Al. Grottgera), gyms, a reading corner or a paddock for four-legged pets. A special place on the route of the Młynówka is certainly a playground with a ship referring to the role that this earth aqueduct once played. There are many benches in the vicinity of the meandering path. On the other hand, the awareness that a large part of the park runs in the place of the former river bed of the Rudawa River, which leads water to the Dominican Church, makes walking along the meandering alleys feel as if we were sailing on the water.

The mill is adapted both for for pedestrians as well as for cyclists and inline skaters. There are intimate enclaves in the form of green islands along the entire length of the park, where those seeking a break from the city noise will find a space suitable for themselves. Młynówka is also extremely valuable in terms of nature. The preserved riparian communities constitute the habitat of many rare plants and animals that are closely related to these valuable habitats. Several of the trees have become Nature Monuments, which proves their uniqueness. Along the entire length of the park there are green islands of various sizes, which reduce the noise level, cast a shadow on sunny days, separate users from traffic and create a more intimate and intimate space. Along the entire length of the Młynówka, you will find several playgrounds, gyms, a tennis court, school pitches and a dog run. Młynówka can be described in two words: Peace and quiet. Located almost in the city center, it can really bring relief from the hustle and bustle.
