Vistula Boulevards

Park

They stretch along the Vistula River from the mouth of the Rudawa River to the Vistula River to ul. Miedziana (left bank of the Vistula River) and from ul. Czechosłowacka to the car park in the area of ul. Zabłocie (right bank of the Vistula river).

Park areas on both sides of the Vistula, created after the final regulation of the river bed. There are numerous hydrotechnical structures with a flood protection function.

Apart from the typical attractions of walking along the river bank (feeding ducks and swans, passage under bridges), there are also a cruise ship marina and water tram stops, a statue of the Wawel Dragon, a statue of the dog Dżok (Czerwieński Boulevard), a new playground on Inflacki Boulevard, a pedestrian and bicycle footbridge by Father Bernatka with locks of love at Boulevard Kurlandia, and on the boulevards in Dąbie - a water step (a dam with a power plant). The Vistula Boulevards are an object of urban technology on the route of the Krakow Technology Trail. There is also a recreational bicycle trail that is part of the European Wavelo bicycle route.

The Vistula Boulevards are one of the favorite places of rest, recreation, walks and meetings with friends in Krakow. It is here that every day thousands of passers-by, cyclists and roller-skaters pass by. Willing to combine all needs, so that they create an aesthetic space with recreational value, we are preparing to revitalize the boulevards as part of the "Vistula connects" project. It assumes the coherent development of not only the immediate vicinity of the Vistula River, but also its adjacent tributaries, so as to connect the entire city in a new way, while creating an alternative route of communication.
